QUALIFYING SQUADS
Squad A -- 11:00am
Check-In -- 10:00am - 10:55am

FORMAT A
Qualifying: 5-games across 5 pairs of lanes.
Eliminator: Cut to top 25 (based on 100 entries), then bowlers compete in a 2-game eliminator round cutting the field in half.  Each eliminator round following the first round will be 1-game rounds.  Pins drop after every round, although we will have 1 wild card in the first round.  Wild card will be the highest total pinfall score who wasn't in the top half for that round.  With 100 entries, the top 25 would make the cut and cut to 12+1.  13 would cut to 7.  7 cut to 4.  4 cut to 2.  One game for the final 2.
Prize Ratio:  A minimum of 1 in 4 entries will cash in this event

FORMAT IS BASED ON A FIELD OF 100 BOWLERS

----READ THE INFO BELOW!!!!!----
We are using your composite average from 2020-21, from leagues having a minimum of 21 games.
Summer league averages are still excluded.
Composite average used will be the highest between a standard average and an adjusted (per USBC charts) sport/challenge average if someone has both.
If no average for 2020-21 season due to taking the year off because of Covid, you may use 2019-2020 composite average. If no average for 2019/20 OR 2020/21, use current season highest average with at least 21 games at time of bowling. Proof of current average will need to be provided.
Anyone without a qualifying average will use 225.
**Only one PBA/PWBA Card Carrying member per team allowed.**
Averages WILL be verified.
Qualifying round: bowl 4 games, moving to the right after each game and skipping a pair of lanes.
4 game total advances top 12 teams. One lane courtesy to be observed.
(If we receive 24 or less teams, only the front 12 lanes will be used.
Teams will move to the right one pair, not skipping lanes.)
2nd round: Top 12 teams bowl 2 more games in match play format. Pinfall carries over from 1st round, bonus pins awarded. (Bowl 1 game, totals calculated, reseed, reassign lanes & bowl 1 more game).
Championship round: Top 4 teams bowl stepladder final. (Pinfall does not carry over to stepladder).
Higher seeded teams will draw for lane assignment prior to the start of each of the first two matches in finals.

Great Wall of China

Pattern Details

Designed for FLEX | GREAT WALL OF CHINA - 5448 | Long associated with a blocked lane condition, the Great Wall of China pattern is the wall of all walls. At 48’ in length, the best way to attack this pattern is up against the wall of oil instead of jumping to the drier part of the lane. Once lined up properly on the Great Wall of China, it will be almost impossible to cross over to the other side!
