The Marathon Event is a 16 Game Dual Pattern Test of Wills, Ability and Endurance. 2 8 Game Blocks featuring Kegel's Route 66 for 1 Block and The Shrewsbury House Shot for the other.
A Cash Ratio of 1:4 with a Max Field of 72 Bowlers and a 1st Place Prize of $4000 on a Full Field with a Last Cash of $325 on a Full Field.
Entry Fee is $250 - If Paid By June 1st it's $225. Pre Registration is Open - Again the Field is Limited to 72 Bowlers and The Only Way to Fully Guarantee a Spot is to Pay for Your Spot - Pre Reg Will Hold a Spot for the immediate future but as more names are on Pre Reg and Entries are Collected thus Shaping the Roster a Sense of Urgency Will Develop, So Don't Delay.

This tournament is open to ALL male USBC sanctioned bowlers. PBA members are welcomed. Youth bowlers
are not eligible to participate.
ALL PARTICIPANTS will bowl 6 games of qualifying on the 2019 USBC Masters pattern, moving pairs to a predetermined schedule after each game. The tournament field is limited to a total of 114 bowlers, no more than 6 per pair. 1 in 4 bowlers will be seeded in a single-elimination bracket based on their 6-game scratch score from qualifying. All bowlers advancing to the bracket will receive prize money.
Single-elimination bracket play will consist of best 2 out of 3 game matches. The winner will move on, and the loser will be eliminated. Should there be a tie, there will be a one ball roll off until we have a winner. The final bowler at the end of all rounds will take home the title.
The entry fee will be $100; $16 lineage and $84 prize fund. All bowlers advancing to bracket match play will cash. Based on 114 entries, 1st place will receive $2,500, and last cashing at least $150. The winner will also receive a paid entry into the 2021 USBC Masters. The entry may be declined and the winner will receive half of the entry fee in cash. The remaining amount will be applied to the following year. The top Senior (50+ as of the date of the event), not cashing in the regular tournament, will receive $100.
Side pots and brackets will be available during the event. Brackets are $5, unlimited, and begin on games 1, 2, 3 and 4. Reverse brackets are $5, unlimited, and begin on games 6, 5, 4 and 3. High Game Pot is $20 and will only pay the top 2 bowlers each game. Survivor Pot is $20 and will pay at least the top 3 bowlers after game 6.
Appropriate dress attire is required. All bowlers must wear either dress slacks or dress shorts, with a bowling style shirt. No jeans, cargo shorts/pants, tank tops, t shirts, or hats will be allowed. Name on your shirt is not required, but recommended. You will not be allowed to bowl until dress code is followed.
Check in will begin at 8:00am, and all bowlers are to be checked in by 8:45am. Practice will begin promptly at 8:50am, with tournament play starting at 9:00am.
