Format:
2 squads of 4 games [9am & 1 pm]
$75 entry fee or $150 for both
Top 12 qualify for match play at 4pm (Top 2 from "A" automatic)
2 game total pin fall - first two matches
1 game total after.

Format: This is a handicap tournament. Handicap will be awarded 80% of 210 based on the highest ’18-’19 average. 10 Pin rule applies. Note, while this tournament is not sanctioned, all USBC rules will apply. Each bowler will bowl 4 games of qualifying, odd lanes will move one pair to the left and even lanes to the right after each game. After qualifying the field will be cut to a bracket elimination format (based on 80 bowlers we will cut to top 16, cuts will be adjusted to fit a 1:5 payout ratio. All bowlers who make the cut are guaranteed double the entry fee ($120). In the case of a tie for the cut a one-game roll off will occur. Ties for matches will be broken by a 9th & 10th frame roll-off. Handicap and possibly scratch brackets will be running, LOTS OF THEM. Florence Bowl house shot will be used.

Lunch Break: After the last bowlers are completed with their qualifying games, a 45-minute lunch hour will commence.

Bracket: Based on a field of 80, 16 bowlers will advance to bracket style match play. Standard bracket styles will be used (1 vs. 16, 2 vs. 15, etc.) Each bowler will receive 10 minutes of practice on their respective pair for the initial round. Following rounds will consist of 4 minutes of practice. Rounds will continue until a winner is declared.

Payout Based on 80 Entries:
1st: $700, 2nd: $400, 3rd/4th : $270, 5th-8th: $190,
9th-16th: $120

we will take up to 90 bowlers this event.

Bowl in 4 or more N.E.I. tournament series events or finsih in the top 16 and you Quilify to bowl the finals in
April 19th, 2020.

If you finsih in the top 8 of either N.E.I. tournaments, Tri-county or Bi-county tournaments series, you will be eligible to bowl in the Battle of the borders event May 5th, 2020.

THE CUT PROCESS for Roll-off

1)Take the top 16 series overall
2) Remove everyone's HDCP
3)Take the Next 4 highest scratch series that didn't make the overall cut.
These will be wild cards
4) Reinstate HDCP for extra paid spots and during Roll-off.

So we will cut 20 total bowlers for Bracket style Roll-off and this format of cutting favors all types of bowlers.

You will use your highest 2018-2019 USBC average unless you are currently 10 pins or higher. Anyone without average will take a 200 for men and 180 for women. Non-Sacontiond bowlers will have to pay $5 extra per event or can pay $20 to get sactioned.

All sports and challenge pattern averages are subject to being converted per USBC conversion chart.

Reporting a False average will be subject to a Ban from N.E.I. tournament series and will be reported to the USBC.

Tournament director has the right to evaluate and re-rate bowlers if needed per USBC rules.

This is the format for this tournament. You will bowl 4 games. You will be moving right every game. We will have a roll off until we get to the top 4 or 5 depending on attendance. It will be step ladder after we get to the top 4 or 5. Where 5th and 4th have a roll off winner moves up and faces 3rd and so on.

There will be $5 brackets and $10 high game.

Will pay 1:4.
